Pete Jacelone, co-writer, producer, camera, and co-director (uncredited) of DUCK! THE CARBINE HIGH MASSACRE, talks about this grunge classic made within months of the Columbine shooting. Some of the crew and actors were high school students who shot the movie on off hours. When police saw them bring the guns on campus to shoot, some of the crew was arrested. This movie has gained a cult following throughout the years!
Would high school students be able to make DUCK! today? It is more relevant than ever. We talk about the conspiracy theories that were formulating in the 90's, such as a third gunman at Columbine, to today's conspiracy mongers who try to convince folks these things never happened.
Pete Jacelone has produced and directed many movies over the decades and, his most recent work, THE KILLER CLOWN MEETS THE CANDY MAN is currently playing on Tubi TV. We also see scenes from past projects like PSYCHO SISTER and his latest, THE CANNIBAL KILLER: THE REAL STORY OF JEFFREY DAHMER.

Are non profit evangelical Christian schools training grounds for would be insurrectionists? Dwayne Walker, the host of The Walkertown Report, reflects on the anti-democratic slant at his former Christian School, Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, Florida. In an interview with Rick Perlstein, author of Reaganland: America’s Right Turn, Walker and Perlstein discuss Jerry Falwell’s multi-media presentation, America, You’re Too Young To Die, which toured Christian schools in the seventies.
These ‘dog and pony shows’, according to Walker, were used to convince evangelicals and fundamentlists that they needed to get involved in politics. Previously, Jerry Falwell had declared that Christians had no business getting involved in politics. This was in response to the activism of Martin Luther King, the famed civil rights leader and a Southern Baptist minister.
Rick Perlstein writes about that era in REAGANLAND, AMERICA'S RIGHT TURN. Dwayne Walker's personal experiences at Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, Florida, are in the book. Dwayne Walker and Rick Perstein discuss how Jerry Falwell convinced thousands of fundamentalists pastors in join him in creating a Moral Majority.
